Slugs

Linda Mann:

 We have been round and round on the Daylily Robin about slugs and
diatomaceous earth came up.  It is the conclusion that in rainy country it
will not work, also that it may cause alkalinity in your soil, and if you do
use it, wear a protective mask so as not to inhale the dust.
