Thanks for the Lloyd Zurbrigg update. Glad to hear he is enjoying his
retirement.
As for as the I. evansias I have not grown them. In south Florida I felt
they would not receive enough cold to grow. How much cold do you need? I
always thought they were neat little iris. Saw them in old gardens in
central and northern Louisiana.
I grow the Louisiana Iris. Matter of fact I have several blooming now. The
local I. hexagona is blooming now too.
I have a few Japanese iris. I see the foliage is starting to grow. This is
my first season with them. Planted them last spring. Don't know if they
will performed in this part of the world but decided to give them a try. I
let you know.
