Hi everyone!
The other day I found a partially eaten bearded iris rhizome that had been
deposited in the middle of the lawn. Looks like one of my new irises
because I checked the old bed thoroughly. I think the squirrels did it
because I haven't seen any rabbits out yet in our area, and those are the
only wildlife we have. Does anyone know how to repel the squirrels?
Should I just use heavier soil that packs down better? The old bed has
heavier soil than the new one.
