For goodness sake, Kim, get that kid a Youth Membership in AIS at once! They
are never too young to start, and I think he would enjoy your reading him
some of the interesting things kids write in their newsletter The Iris Fan.
Now if we could only get him interested in breeding arilbreds here in the
East (as Fred Gadd in MA has been doing for decades!) Oh, yes! Get him into
