My daughter Anne-Marie is 20 months old. In January, she learned the word
"flower" and fearlessly applies it to all houseplants, garden plants,
trees, blooms, and pictures thereof. She saw me with the AIS Judge's
Handbook this weekend, open to the page with the outline drawing of an SDB
stalk, to indicate proper proportion. "Flower!"
She seems to have a well-developed understanding of daddy's preferences in
reading material.
