Hello to all iris fanatics,
I am a Belgian garden fanatic, and became very interested in the beauty and
diversity of the irisses. As I recently obtained a garden with lot of free
space, I would very much enjoy to grow irisses. Instead of immediately
spending a huge amount of money ordering irisses from commercial firms, I
would prefer to ask your help. If you have iris seeds or rhizomes to spare,
I would be very glad with them to get started with. As I do not have a
collection yet, also material of the most common species is greatly
appreciated. I am afraid that at this moment I can not send you any iris
species in exchange, but within a few years I hope to be able to have
material to send to other iris fanatics.
Also any information or recommendations about how to get started, and which
books on irisses are most interesting is very welcome.

Please, send information you think might still be usefull for me, but
irrelevant for the other more experienced iris fanatics, immediately to my
mail address:

Hoping for some positive reactions, I do thank you already very much in advance,
Peter
P.S.: It is very nice to see how well organised the iris societies are in
USA and CANADA. I am afraid that here in Europe, this is much less the case
(if I am mistaking, please let me know).
