Can anyone explain how it is that I have a tall bearded iris in bloom on
March 7, - - and not a single pumila or SDB open yet?The  TB is MATRIX.  A
seedling of MATRIX bloomed with the dwarfs two years ago. There is just the
one stalk, but it has withstood many frosts during its growth. I am utterly
