Griff Crump asked:
: Does anyone out there know of -- or has anyone created -- a computer
: program for facilitating one's own hybridizing? I could make the
: question more complicated, but will wait to see what comes of the simple
: one.
Many of us use database managers. I wrote a set of programs for pedigree
analysis, including ancestor and descendancy charts. Perfect for my own use, of
course, but not appropriate for a non-programmer.
Ralph Holmes software requires no programming expertise, just the ability to
point, click, and choose items from the on-screen menus. It displays
four-generation charts, prints five and six generation charts (depending on the
user's preference for vertical or horizontal format).
If anyone wants to know more about it, please e-mail me privately.
