Regretfully, I lost a lot of saved mail when I replaced my hard-drive and
modem. There was a lot previously said about variegated Iris and I can't
recall if this plant, Iris ensata spontanea variegata, was discussed. Can
anyone tell me anything about it? The description was vague, but enough to
get me interested. The $25 price tag inspired me to ask the group (or list
or whatever.....) about it.
Love that name, "Spontanea". Nice name for a hyper-active Chihuahua
(redundancy noted).
Two others I would like to know more about:
Iris virginica 'Contraband Girl' - purple veined in copper; sounds lovely.
Another great name.
Sisyrinchium 'Quaint and Queer' - I did NOT make this name up. The
description is what really caught my eye: rosy bronze/peuce [sic] flowers.
I remember the puce thread vividly.
