Some years ago before I knew better I ordered a Louisiana TIGER RAG from
Southern Perennials and Herbs. It is blooming now for the first time and It is
not a semi-modern hybrid as I would have expected from the catalog description.
The entire plant, foliage and flowers, are quite a bit smaller than any of the
other dozen or so varieties I have, almost Siberian sized. The flowers are
species like, pale lavender with darker veins, and a soft yellow signal, The
flower is at most 3-4 inches in diameter with falls about 3/4 to 1 inch wide,
again the form is species like. Its obviously possible that I received the wrong
plant - does anyone grow Tiger Rag ?
TIA
