Paul, was this THE SIGNA seed germination guide to which Sharon McAllister
was referring? Did you get this from a back issue of SIGNA or was it a
separate little publication? If from a back issue, which one?
Does anyone on the IRIS-L have a substantial collection of SIGNA back
issues? And, if so, is there more iris species specific information on seed
germination, examples - such as feature articles on germinating or growing
laevigatas, spurias, or 40-chromosome siberians from seeds?
Would anyone care to speculate as to the most valuable back issues of SIGNA
for those of us who don't have $176.00 (44 x$4.00) burning a whole in our
pocket.:) I know this is a loaded question since value is in the eye of the
beholder, but consider this question with respect to value being defined
as real cultural(growing) information rather than society news or
historical information.
