Was the HIPS e-mail robin ever asked to do this? We know the
answer...
If this mailing list wants to become the Siberian e-mail robin,
we welcome you to the appreciation of the series Sibericae.

I am not doing it, period. I just spent three hours soothing
people's
feathers and organizing a mailing list and sending info out to the
14 people on the Siberian e-mail robin.
All a few of us wanted to do was have a small Siberian chat-type
discussion group - the problem was it was called a Robin ---let's
change the damn name if it causes so much angst amongst the iris-
l members.
Maybe we will disband and have five or six of us in a private
group and make the iris-l happy.
