Down here in Austin, the late August +9" of rain after six weeks of
drought destroyed 30% of our iris (900). It was disgusting to continue
to go through the garden doing surgery on almost every rhizome. After
two weeks we got another 5" of rain that finished those on their last
leg.
On the bright side we have lost only 2% (35) of our stock over the
winter.
Praying for a more "consistent" weather pattern this year.
