You never mentioned what kind of potting mix you used to pot your
siberians. Try using 1/2 potting soil, 1/4 peat moss and 1/4 perlite.
This is what I use with much success. I never use pans of water to set
the pots in, but just keep the soil mix wet until I plant in the ground.
Its important to use clean, fresh soil for any plant!
