Another good example of climatic differences.  Up to a point, warmth does indeed
speed up the process.  Past that point, it seems to stop it.   Best to do what
works in your area -- even Henry Danielson had to re-learn how to do many things
when he moved southern New Mexico after decades of hybridizing in Chicago.
