I have about two dozen varieties of Siberian Irises. I have only lost
one plant, and it was a late planted one. Otherwise, Siberian Irises do
wonderful here. They have fewer problems than the TB Irises. It looks to
me that the planting date is extremely important with these plants,
especially when gardening in climates prone to freeze thaw like Kentucky.
