Re: Spots and Holes on TB

This may be fungal leaf spot which is starting early in many gardens
because of the warm, moist spring. Look for spots with clear or yellow
centers and a brown ring around them, more abundant near the tips of
leaves.

Spray with Benlate or Benomyl, according to the package directions.

Clean up and burn all old foliage in both spring and fall and keep old
leaves pulled off during the summer. The spores overwinter on old iris
foliage. Many modern TB hybrids seem to be super-susceptable.
