One of my favorite suppliers is Hall's Flower Garden (Earl and Dorothy Hall),
1495 Enterprise Road, West Alexandria, OH 45381- phone 513 839-4216.
Another is Rocky Top Nursery in Eagleville, TN. I can't find the address
right now.
Perhaps someone out there on the electronic airways knows it. Neither of
these catalogues has the georgous photographs that Schreiners and Cooleys
haave, but they are grown in climates which are closer to that here in middle
Tennessee. I have bought from each of them for the past two years and all the
iris (mostly rebloomers) have survived. They have not all rebloomed, but we
have found here that it may take a few seasons for them to settle in to
rebloom. Several did rebloom last fall and another group tried to but got
frozen by an earlier than usual freeze. They don't seem as prone to rot here
as the west coast ones. I have been on line for only one week and am enjoying
the discussions. Joanne Hackman
