Sharon gave a good answer, noting the definitions change in 1990. I'd just
like to add that OGB implies an arilbred of mixed onco and regelia
parentage, which covers most of them. However, if only oncos are involved
it is OB+, OB, OB-; if only regelias, then RB+, RB, RB-.
And "1/4" and "3/4" are convenient terms, but they presume that the irises
are tetraploids, which is not always the case. If there are more aril
chromosome sets than bearded ones, it is OGB+; if there are fewer aril than
bearded, it is OGB-, regardless of whether there is exactly one set of one
kind and three of another--triploids will be actually 1/3 and 2/3.
