Re: CULT: pH


I've never grown bearded irises where the pH was less than 7.5, and have
had no special difficulties. In fact they seem to do fine in a pH of 8.0,
which is typical for much of New Mexico. Things I've read made me believe
that they do well anywhere from slightly acid to rather alkaline, say
6.5-8.0, but I can't claim to have made any tests.
