Thank you, Kathy. This is exactly what I had in mind. Not slam lists, no!
But detailed comments about growth habits that would help someone
inexperienced like me get an idea how those introductions fare in
particular climates. I would assume since we're talking about people who
have grown good numbers of one hybridizer's intros that these would *not*
be predominantly negative remarks. Who continues buying plants from the
same hybridizer when most of them don't do well?
And my guiding assumption here is that how a hybridizer's intros do in one
climate does *not* reflect negatively on how they do elsewhere. Isn't this
one of the truths we have taught one another? :-)
