Sounds like what I used this year. Mine were the short label stakes
that I no longer use. They are about 6" long, U shaped with the legs
about 1" apart. The 40 - 50 mile per hour winds we have been having
just pick up the plastic and tug on it until the staples tear through a
double fold of the plastic or pull out of the ground. I gave up today
and took it all up. Better luck next time :-)
