A few weeks ago, we got some soil trucked in to fill a low place.
This soil came from a boggy area in southern Levy County, Florida. [The
next county due west from here.] Although I have planted some other plants
in it, I am finding Irises coming up volunteer. Of course, I will let them
grow. They are small now, and it is obvious that they are coming up from
seed. Most likely, it is Iris giganiticaerula since it is common in the
area the soil came from.
