Sounds like, for a change, we have pretty much the same minimum spacing
suggestion for new seedlings from various regions over North America:
about 6 inches all directions (Canada?, Mississippi, and west coast).
Except maybe for Lloyd who says they need more room than that to show
good second year bloom, which may be better than the first year.

definitely counting my chickens before they hatch. My frozen irises
range from looking normal (HARVEST OF MEMORIES) to fallen over like
frozen daylily foliage (ARRAINGER'S CHOICE) - more 'steamed' in
appearance and on their way to mush than Walter's freeze dried
scorching.
