OT: humate


Hello,

Does anyone have any experience with a soil amendment called humate?  It is
$9 a bag at one of the feed stores, but has no info except the name
printed.  I confess to using a bag in the bed I prepared last year for
planting the ARs and had no apparent bad effects.  I'm always looking for
anything which may help the soil texture of red brick.
