Ian,
With somewhat less than an exhaustive search I am able to trace LIVE JAZZ
back 10 times to I. pumila and 5 times to "Carpathia", which is listed in
the 1979 AIS Checklist as "(Schreiner's, MDB, not registered). S. full
yellow, darkening on F to yellow-brown with lighter edges. From seed
collected in Transylvania." Does anyone know anyhting more specific about
the origin of "Carpathia"?
LIVE JAZZ also traces back once to the oncocyclus species, I. susiana, as
well as to "Sari", which might possibly be the onco species I. sari (?)
