In the DIS 1996 checklist, Carpathia looks like it was used prin-
cipally in breeding. All the cultivars in the DIS checklist were
registered and/or introduced. It was introduced by Schreiners (no
date given). It is also described as 4" (10 cm).

I was also searching Live Jazz and came up with white pumilas and
yellow pumilas on both the pod and pollen side...but 'Live Jazz' seems
to resemble (on paper at least) the pod parent, 'Spring Bonnet' in
color as described in the checklists.

I also have an SDB that was almost deciduous for me, 'Grapesicle' and
I spent some time trying to tie 'Live Jazz' up as a cousin...pretty
difficult when a lot of the ancestors are described as I. pumila. :)
I finally fell asleep on the sofa with the checklists all around me
when my husband woke me at 1:30 AM....:(

	Cheers,

	Ellen
