Char, one of the first things that I learned about rebloom culture was that
any rebloom stalks caught in a freeze should be cut back right to the
rhizome. To not do so invites rot, and indeed you might lose the whole
clump. I would suggest that you check your clumps for rot and cut back
those old stalks flush with the rhizome, even at this date.
