Any 3/4-bred is worth trying -- that's about the only way to find out which
ones are most compatible with your stock. These are limitedly fertile, not
infertile as people sometimes assume. Expect few takes, few seeds per pod,
and a low germination rate -- but among the seedlings you raise to bloom
size you can expect to find some that are relatively fertile with
compatible mates. I've obtained a number of fertile 1/2-breds by crossing
1/4-breds and tetraploid arils, which is essentially the reciprocal of the
type of cross you propose.

My two favorite 3/4-breds for use with TBs are TRIBE OF JUDAH and WHIRLWIND
ROMANCE -- neither of which I'd recommend for use with MTBs because I think
the resultant flowers would probably be too large. LOVE CONQUERS ALL has
beautiful turquoise pollen, which has given me seedlings when used on
halfbreds but I haven't tried it on TBs. It has enough regelia that your
seedlings might have in-class flowers.

Have you considered using some of the smaller-flowered tetraploid arils
with your tetraploid MTBs?
