Sharon, Jan, any other aril/arilbred experts out there! Here is a question
I have been longing to ask, and am almost afraid to ask, it is so hard!
Does anyone know of a three quarter bred (gasp!) that has good pollen that
can be used on a tetraploid pink reblooming MTB (EMMA DOODLE or ABRIDGED
VERSION) to try to get some breeding stock with? I am also trying to
locate all the tetraploid plicata MTBs I can find...I think maybe Ken
Fisher has some. Perhaps this is not even a good idea, I am just trying to
think of a way to have more "aril blood" in the seedlings than the fertile
one half breds x MTB...
Cindy Rust, Zone 5b, Missouri. Frost this morning, but arilbreds and one
aril looking great snugged up against the south side of the house!
