Same here Arnold but I do prefer snapping since its much faster and takes less
time. I do this at Missouri Botanical Gardens because of the time we work
there and then will go back and cut any that wouldn't snap off. Usually we do
this while we are cleaning the beds so we're not doing double work. But
usually we can snap off I would say 98 percent without damaging the plants.
Makes the beds look much nicer for public viewing.
