Re: HYB: Reblooming MTB-Class ABs

From: "S & C Rust" <srust@fidnet.com>

Sharon, thank you once again for invaluable advice. My daughter would
consider using smaller tetraploid arils, or anything, that would help her
reach her goal. But, our problem is, WHICH tetraploid aril, and where can
we obtain it? She knows that she will not be able to get in class MTBs in
the first, or even several generations. She would eventually like to have
flowers that are extremely veined (perhaps like OYEZ) and another line that
has the large signal and onco shape to the flowers. That, together with
the rebloom, and in-class flowers is her long term goal. She figures this
will take 20 years, but she plans to enjoy the process!
