Welcome to Iris Talk. Of your questions, I can only help you with
this one. If the rhizomes are dormant with no green at all, you could
wait until spring before planting them. If they have any green at all,
or if you want to have a shot at having bloom this year, go ahead and
plant them. Put them in the brightest place you have.
