Thanks for all your insights Perry. The problem with the region is that it
is coast to coast. But the problem is not that the judges are spread
around but they are very localized (almost all are in southern Ontario) and
very few (about a handful). It is very difficult to encourage members to
become judges when most do not make it to the shows or meetings. Also the
majority of the members belong to the Canadian Iris Society but not the AIS
-- something that I may tackle when the RVPship passes on to Sandy.
