Re: OT: judging

From: "Mark, Maureen" <MARKM@tc.gc.ca>

Vince,

I empathize. As Sandy has been asked to be the next RVP, these questions
loom. We also encourage cross border judging (just to make things easier
and more difficult at the same time). This would allow a member in Western
Canada to attend a judge's training session closer to home. However, as an
RVP in central Canada, I would have no clue about judges just south of the
border in Western Canada. The issue is not likely to arise any time soon as
we do not have a strong enough contingent in the West that has wanted to
stage a show. All our shows are located in southern Ontario -- where all
the judges are.
