To show you how far I am behind, I have here a catalog from Eureka Gardening
Collection, PO Box 946, Granite Falls, NC 75229 (the first I have ever
received)
that has several Iris books listed with which I am not familiar. If any of
you own
or would like to own any of the the following books, please tell me what you
think of them.
THE IRIS - Brian Mathews 1989 $32.95
IRIS - Fritz Koblein 1987 $39.95
THE SIBERIAN IRIS - Currier McEwen 1996 $39.95
IRIS OF CHINA - James Waddick & Zhao Yu-tang 1992 $27.95
GROWING IRIS - Graeme Grosvenor 1992 $11.95
IRISES - Karen Glasgow 1996 $19.95
IRIS, FLOWER OF THE RAINBOW - G.Grosvenor $55.00
THE GARDENER'S GUIDE TO GROWING IRISES - Geof Stebbings 1997 $29.95
I have never seen this many iris books listed before, and have heard of only
two
of the authors. I am most interested in the McEwen book, but can't afford
them all
Are these prices OK, and which would be the best to have? Are there other
places where the prices are better? I have only a few Iris books and would
like to add to
my library.
