Me again. I too was "taken back" my Chuck's section. I'd say it speaks to
his integrity, would you? Crucial for gardeners in whatever-zones the
Canadians are in. He's definitely doing his "neighbors" a public service, I
think. Wish more people would do this. I try to mention a few LA's in my
catalog, when I have received the word, from reliable northern sources, that
a certain variety is tender. MOST Louisianas these days can be grown up
north. It won't devastate us to mention the handful that really should be
grown only in the "temperate" zones. Daylily folks do this type of thing
all the time (e.g., "hardy evergreens", "hard dormants", "semi-evergreen").
