I'd like to know as well. I fertilize with a light hand if I bother at
all.
Plants have to really beg or I generally don't feed. Although this year
I threw some milorganite at one TB bed which is in poorer soil and
did not get quite the amendments the two principle beds received
last year. I don't plan to fertilize either of those. I did fertilize the
the beardless excepting the new spurias. They are doing very well
so I have no plans to fertilize this year. The older clump got a dollop.
Even tho our chance of a late freeze is not past, I can't believe the
fertilize will make much difference either way since the growth is
already lush.
