My two recommendations are not new, either, but very fine:
Dusky Challenger (Schreiners' Dykes)
Joyce Terry (yellow and white Muhlstein which SHOULD have won the Dykes)
My very favorite iris, ever, is Silverado. And for me, the most perfect,
ever. But not sure how it would do in such a cold climate.
