Perry, don't you think it is too much to be able to suggest just two
iris?! I love SILVERADO too, and used it last year to cross with some
of Ben Hager's newer blue rebloomers. But, I had to try twice to
establish it. Couldn't ask for better the second time around. DUSKY
CHALLENGER, everyone's clear favorite, has done poorly for me for three
years now. I don't think it has even bloomed. The rhizomes are small
and increase has been sparce. Those on either side do great, but maybe
it is in a bad pocket of soil, or something! I will try moving it, it
will surely do better. My aunt has, and swears by, JOYCE TERRY.
STELLAR LIGHTS is one I could mention...it is very tough, always wins a
blue and higher and it is distinctive.
