I don't think Miss Kitty was our captain -- if she had been perhaps we
wouldn't have evolved into the "Singing Bus".
The garden tours are great, but some of the rides get long and boring. My
family has never bothered with playing tapes or the car radio. We just
sing -- harmonize, to be specific. So Mother and I did what comes
naturally, but we didn't even realize what we were doing until the woman
sitting across the aisle commented on how long it had been since she'd
heard a particular song. By the end of the day the singers had gathered in
the back of the bus and, for us at least, the miles flew by.
