Hi Dorothy:
Are you a member of the Reblooming Iris Society?? There is a great article in
this upcoming issue (which is going to be FAB-U-LOUS, if I ever get it to the
printer) on irisborer.... and an interesting technique in another article
("Rebloom Out West") about using Murphy's Oil Soap to combat borers. The man
who wrote the latter, Mike Gullo, is from this region and he reports good
results.
For all of you members of the RIS, the Recorder is just getting some final
touches prior to going to the printer.... by all current newsletter
philosophy, this is waaaaaay too 'text-dense', so be prepared for several
night's reading material...... plus a good reference for a long time to come!
