Perry, as I said in an earlier post, I tried my best to grow H T B,
but she just wouldn't cooperate. Replacing it three times and
watching it struggle and die a slow death was too much. If you had
come here last year, you could have seen H T B in the throes of
death!
Naturally, I know it grows somewhere, and I have seen it perform
mauveously at conventions. It does not survive in any of the local
gardens, either.
Sorry, I will not be in OKC for the convention to attest the first
paragraph. Since my bloom coincides with yours, I will stay home and
enjoy my own flowers.
