Re: TB: bloom report - or how to brighten a dull day

Jan, Jan

Where are all your rebloomers. I've had something in bloom ever since
Christmas. The Pacific Tide popped out the otherday. What a lovely steely
blue it is and great form, when everything blooms at once in spring
sometimes you don't appreciate some fully. Breakers has been the best I've
ever seen.
Bountiful Harvest and Harvest of Memories have been going for about 2
months.
Have a massive stem of All American and Ocean Pacific that should be almost
out when
I get back from Perth on Saturday.
Have a lovely baby out. Peachypink banded falls, pink mango stds. Stem's not
too straight. It's spring bloom was snapped off by the dogs, so now I'm
dying to see what it does in it's second spring, if the stem improves. Have
another yellow baby that should be out by the time I get back. All this
travel messes about with my breeding. Fortunately the company is putting
someone on in Perth and I'll only have to come over 4 times a year.

So Jan, if you need to improve your range of rebloomers, we need to talk
again, We're taking a leaf out of Mike's book and specialising in
rebloomers.
It made me sick to see how little it costs for those in the USA to import
from Aust. When we import it will cost us about $50 per rhizome in
quarantine charges, plus the rhizome, and that's importing more than 40 at
once. Anything less just isn't ecconomical.
