Hi, everyone, back with renewed iris enthusiasm after more world
travels. This year it was Venezuela where I found irises blooming in the
high Andes, well south of the supposed iris zone.
But to the subject: a customer brought me a bloom stalk of this TB white
self last week end for help in identity, and I've never seen anything
like it. Height: 4'8"! Seven blooms per stem. 6" high blooms x 4" wide.
Very fine ruffling, more like pleats. White beards with yellow tips.
Anybody have a clue as to what this huge iris might be?
