Hi all,
Last year as a 2 year clump dear little Swertii had only one stalk. This
year it has lots of stalks and bloom, albeit earlier than last year
(everything was early this year).
Several pods are forming! Don't know if these beepods are selfs or with
one of its next door neighbors (could be Winter Olympics). Have any of
you planted seeds from Swertii, and if so, what did you get? Since it
was collected in 1612, no parentage is given for it. I believe it's
considered a TB even tho it looks like an MTB. Is it also considered
close to a species, or do we think that someone hybridized it way back
then?
Lotsa questions! Cheers, Barb
