How is this very dubious nuseryman (want to make sure I never by anything
from him) Tell me off list if you like. The only foetidissima I know is
pinkish yellow (sort of) They're prob some species of beardless.
I got my mis-named Babbling Brook from a packet at a garden/hardware shop.
Is that the same nursery. Does the real Babbling Brook exist in Australia,
I'd love some.
The weather has finally turned cold, just as heaps of my daylilies are
heading up and coming into bloom.
I took 12 different blooms of TB (3 of them seedlings) to the SA iris
society meeting last week, and there were lots of other blooms, including
occasional rebloomers like Green and Gifted and Girls Favourite. Everyone
agrees that this has been the best season for rebloom for ages.
My All American looks stunning, it just opened it's first bud yesterday.
Every mature fan has a full size stem. Should look fantastic by next week if
we don't get any heavy frost. Had only 2 very light ones so far. Very mild.
