My job is insane lately and so I'm gone at first light and home about dusk...
but I took a speed walk around the garden just now and I am weak-kneed with
the sheer glory of it all!
This is not to say that I have a fabulous garden - it's a garden only a
gardener could love, but I found myself saying (ala Mr. T)
I pity da foo' that has no irises
MIND READER for all the criticism it gets is showing off like it was smack
dab in Portland. A stunner that looks like there might be a votive candle
burning inside. And full height too.
PINK PELE is more of a shrimp color but perky and wonderful
HOODLUM is orange sherbet and a picture in itself
LONDONDERRY - one of Keppel's Irish series is a medley of lilac, pink and I
can't remember - but it will bring you to your knees, guaranteed.
I am going to have a spectacular iris year..... and this job thing has got
to go!
Kathy Guest - not terribly articulate in E. Aurora, NY - but it's a miracle
out there and the lilacs are exquisite and the wisteria smells like heaven
itself and I definitely need floodlights out there
