Re: CULT: floppy TBs


Flop is really common with first year clumps, where roots are not yet firmly
established, and the wind tips the entire rhizome over. In second year clumps
it is far less common, and usually worth a note under that variety in my data
base, although many climate factors can also cause a weak stalk base, such as
(here, once again) lack of rain.
