Hi from the frozen south. Well we didn't get any snow today, but it was over the Mt Lofty ranges only about 15 km away, and much of the northern pastoral district got blanketed. This morning most of our rain was actually hail. The thermometer says it actually got up to 10 C degree, but I must have missed that millisecond. Most of the day it was around 4C. Was down to 0C at 6pm. Am estatic for my seedlings sake, plus tulips etc, it has been far too warm lately.
My TBs that are flowering are delightfully lacy around the edges now, amazing the effect of hail. The forcast is for heavy frosts next week, which will spoil my rebloomers, rats. However I get to fly to Perth tomorrow, again. Don't mind this time, it's been about 22C there lately. I get to stay warm, and my plants get suitably chilled.
